Jerry Jacques, a Christian Seventh-day Adventist, is a native of Queens, New York. He was born in Au-cap, Haiti on June 12, 1980. He holds an A.A.S. in Office Administration and Technology from Kingsborough Community College. Jerry served a year (2008-2009) as the treasurer in the cabinet of the Oakwood University Religion and Theology Forum, a student organization.

Jerry also blogs at The Rhḗtōr. Outside of his studies he enjoys time with his family and friends. His hobbies include playing the piano, running and weight lifting, photography, writing, bowling, and travel.
