Current Research

The Relevancy of the Fourth Commandment – a series that seeks to address issues that have been raised in dialogues with Christians concerning the Seventh-day Sabbath doctrine.

  • An Introduction to Contemporary Issues Concerning the Seventh Day Sabbath (October 21, 2011) – This first article not only presents the issues that are to be explored, but also call for improvement, patience, and care in the communication of the doctrine.
  • The Need for a Biblical Worldview (May 12, 2012) – This article argues that fundamental to a cognitive acceptance and practice of the Sabbath, one should already posses a biblical worldview. The article attempts to provide foundational beliefs that will aid in the construction of a such a worldview.
The Implications of Paul’s Words in Galatians 1:8, 9 (coming soon) – The last Sabbath School quarterly of 2011, entitled The Gospel in Galatians, invited the church to  undergo a systematic analysis of the gospel as is presented in Paul’s epistle to the Galatians. The hope is that by making such an analysis we not only become more familiar with the epistle and the gospel, but also come to the realization that ceasing to hold on to the gospel in its true form can lead us to accepting a fake. This study is an exposition of Galatians 1:8 and 9.
